Full Description

The second edition Ordnance Survey map of 1897-1900, shows two long rectangular hoppers huts running at a right angle to the road. There are also three small building clustered in the north-east of the site. In the early twentieth century, prior to the 1940s aerial survey, the hoppers huts have been divided into four separate structures. On the 1990 aerial survey one of the top structures has been demolished and the 1999 aerial survey shows the western hoppers huts joined together, forming a square structure.
