Full Description
A single row of hop pickers' huts first appearing on the 2nd ed. OS map (1897-1907), adjacent to Herne Farm, Merworth. Still extant on the 1940s ariel photographs. Half it's original length (furthest from the farm) had been demolished by the 1999 ariel photgraph. The remaining section is still visible on the 2008 ariel photograph and modern map, possibly residential.
