Full Description
The 1840s Tithe map of Selling shows a structure on the site, however its shape does not correspond to the buildings shown on later edition maps (first ed OS 1862-75, second ed 1897-1900 and third ed 1907-23). The building shown on the first edition Ordnance Survey (1862-75) clearly shows two oasts, one to the north-west and one to the north. On the aerial survey of the 1940s the oasts are however, very unclear due to tree coverage and by the 1990 aerial survey the oast house has been demolished.
