Full Description
A rectangular structure with two oasts on its northern wall is shown on the second edition Ordnance Survey map of 1897-1900. The structure has an additional oast constructed prior to the production of the 1907-23 (third edition Ordnance Survey) map, and a fourth oast constructed on its eastern wall in the early twentieth century (fourth edition Ordnance Survey map 1929-53).
The aerial survey of the 1940s, shows that the eastern oast has been removed and the building converted into three separate residences. Due to the shadow, it is not possible to say if northern oasts remain however, the 1990 aerial survey, clearly shows that the oasts have been removed and replaced with residential extensions.
