Full Description

In 2012 an evaluation and a subsequent excavation were carried out by Canterbury Archaeological Trust. Evidence of several medieval buildings was found. A post medieval brick wall was found. It was thought to be the south facing external wall of a building that fronted Wincheap and is possibly one shown on 18th century maps of the area and replaced in the late 19th century by buildings on the site.
