Full Description
In 2003 Canterbury Archaeology Trust carried out an excavation. Two ditches crossed the site for about 60m, parallel and 3-5m apart. A number of small sections of ditch were found at right angles to this alignment suggesting a rectilinear field system. Material from the ditches dated from the late 1st to early 3rd century AD. (1)
