Full Description

In 2005 the Trust for Thanet Archaeology carried out a watching brief. Two worked flints were recovered from spoil heaps on the site. One was an end-scraper, possibly showing signs of originally having been hafted. The other find was a short-pointed piercer and may also have been hafted. Both were of probable Late Neolithic date, though could also be of Early Bronze Age date. (1)
