RCHME AP shows rectilinear enclosure with internal division and 2 short linear features adjacent to the SE corner. Dotted linear feature at TR 3460 6840 and linear feature at TR 3468 6831(1)

A Rectilinear enclosure of possible Iron Age/Roman or medieval date was visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs: NMR 2602/0211 24-APR-1985 and EARTH.GOOGLE.COM MAY-2017 ACCESSED 08-NOV-2023. The enclosure is defined by a single ditch with an entrance in the southern side. It meastures 35m x 44m. Within the enclosure are traces of several pits and a single ring ditch, possibly a hut circle c, 5m in diameter. Externally to the north are fragrments of a curving ditch extending north. To the east are cropmras of ditches, possibly part of a further incomplete rectilinear enclosure. This site was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. (2)
