Full Description

In 2013 Wessex Archaeology carried out an evaluation. An undated crouched inhumation was found. It was not excavated but was possibly a juvenile. (1)

In 2013 Archaeology South-East carried out an excavation. The burial was supine and that of a young adult possibly male individual. The burial was badly disturbed by later activity. There were no other features in the immediate area. Radiocarbon dating of the bones (1406-1135 cal BC) suggests the burial is of Middle Bronze Age date. (2)
