Second World War light anti-aircraft battery (VD2) south of Princes Road, Dartford somewhere in the vicinity of Princes Golf and Leisure Club. It consisted of 1 Vickers Quad gun. It is first mentioned in a record of 1942 and, as one of a grouping of batteries, is likely to have been for the encircling defence of the approaches to the Vickers factory at Brooklands. Its date of removal is unknown.
