Summary
Second World War air raid wardens post on the west side of Knockhall Chase, near its junction with London Road, Greenhithe, Kent. It was a small rectangular concrete building with a flat concrete roof, probably originating in 1940 and continuing in use into the Cold War. The post was demolished in 1995 to make way for the Greenhithe Service Centre. An air raid siren was added to the roof of the Knockhall Chase air raid wardens post in c. March, 1943. It remained in place for a time post war.
