Full Description

In 2009 and 2010 SLR carried out a strip, map and sample excavation and a watching brief at Wrotham quarry. A Middle Palaeolithic Levallois-style core/scraper was found. Two worked flakes were also found in the spoil heap. (1-2)

These finds could come from any part of the Palaeolithic, or could be post-Palaeolithic (Mesolithic, Neolithic, or even later)
