Full Description
Cropmarks of possible structures are visible in Google Earth images of 2011 in Mystole Park. These are possibly of medieval or post medieval date. A building is shown in the area on Ordnance Survey drawings of 1789 and 1799. The park appears to have expanded to the east, reaching its current boundaries, in the early to mid 19th century. The area is shown clear of buildings on the Tithe Map of 1839. The former plots appear as a copse of trees opposite Underdown on the 1st edition 25" OS mapping.
