Full Description
In 2013 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out a watching brief on the demolition of the Second World War air raid shelter. During this deep sections of sediment were exposed. These were all composed of solifluction deposits and later hill wash. The later layers contained a number of struck flints of broadly Neolithic to Bronze Age date. (1)
