Full Description
The medieval manor was located within a moated area by the road. It was demolished in the late 18th or early 19th century when Brasted Place was built within the park to the south. (1)
The building is shown on the Ordnance Survey drawings of 1798 within the moat. The moat is shown on 19th and 20th century OS 25" mapping. It is visible in aerial photos of the 1940s but had been filled in by 1961.
