Full Description

In 2003 the Dover Archaeological group was informed about earthworks and buried walls in a meadow to the east of Upper Farm, Sutton. A geophysical survey in 2004 found the outline of an L- or T-shaped building. Hasted recorded that the ruins of a 16th or 17th century manor could be seen in a meadow on the east side of Sutton Street. (1)
