Full Description
In 2010 a LiDAR survey of The Blean identified substantial earthworks enclosing Homestall Wood at Harbledown. The earthworks enclosure an area 800m x 550m, c. 35 hectares, the circuit being c.2.2km in length. At its largest the bank is 9m across and the ditch 6m across. There appear to be earthworks forming a entranceway on the southeast side of the site. A rectangular enclosure is visible within the larger one. The features have not been dated but could be of prehistoric origin. (1)
