Full Description

In 1998/99 Museum of London Archaeology Service carried out an excavation. A Late Iron Age brushwood platform was found in a former stream course. It is likely that it was built using material from the immediate area in order to access the stream. Grog-tempered pottery found with the platform dates to the Late Iron Age, though could date as late as the mid 2nd century AD. (1)
