Single-ditched, ring ditch located from AP's.

A single-ditched ring ditch was reported in this location on the basis of aerial photographs taken of the area. The feature was recorded in the Isle of Thanet Sites and Monuments Record on the basis of a cropmark plot created by the Trust for Thanet Archaeology from these phots. No further information about this feature could be found and it is uncertain whether this record may in fact relate to two ring ditches also located in the area (see TR 36 NW 167). (1)

A ring ditch forming part of a round barrow of Bronze Age date was visible as a cropmark in EARTH.GOOGLE.COM XX-XXX-1960. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (2)
