Full Description
The former site of the Cannon Inn, a 19th century public house. The building was originally a late 17th century house. In 2010 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out a watching brief and recorded the pub cellar during redevelopment on the site. (1) Evaluations in 2010 excavated large amounts of loose brick and mortar rubble relating to it's demolition, it is know to have occupied the area unril the mid 1970s.(2)
