Full Description
A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark in a Google Earth image of 2013 and in an aerial photo of 2012. It is 27m across. (1)
A ring ditch forming part of a round barrow of Bronze Age date was visible as a cropmark in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 25-MAY-2012. Parts of an interior ring ditch were present in the cropmark, implying that this was a double-ditched barrow. The outer ditch measures about 30.2m in diameter. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (2)
