Full Description
A ring ditch visible as a cropmark in aerial photos of 1999 and Google Earth images 2007 to the south of Belle Isle. It is 21m across. It consists of a single ring ditch that is fully visible in the 1999 Google Earth images. In the Google Earth 2007 image it is obscured by foliage on the western side. (1)
A ring ditch forming part of a round barrow of Bronze Age date was visible as a cropmark in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (2)
