Full Description
A rectilinear enclosure visible as a cropmark in Google Earth image of 2007 to the north west of Nether Hale Farm Cottages.
It has a width of 199 m and height of 83 m and cosists of tracks and a small woodland area that interrupts the north western side of the enclosure, a track that interrupts the south western side of the enclosure and lastly, a track that interrupts the eastern side of the enclosure.
Cropmarks of two phases of possibly Iron Age or Roman settlement enclosures visible as cropmarks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 to the north west of Nether Hale Farm Cottages. The main enclosure is defined by straight ditches with angulr corners and traces of sub-divisions and though incomplete measures c. 85m by at least 130m. A second partial rectilinear enclosure lies on a different axis over the Southern side of the other enclosure.
