Summary
During the Second World War a tank servicing yard is believed to have been constructed at Rook Toll south of Boughton Lees. It is said to be where Churchill 'crocodile' flamethrower tanks were serviced before D-Day and there are reports that remains of roadways and tin huts still exist.

Full Description
During the Second World War a tank servicing yard is believed to have been constructed at Rook Toll south of Boughton Lees. It is said to be where Churchill 'crocodile' flamethrower tanks were services before D-Day and there are reports that remains of roadways and tin huts still exist.
