Full Description

Report by Evans (1) of a fresh condition and unstained/black handaxe from "the new cemetery", possibly St. Paul's cemetery NGR 615385 157740. Two handaxes provenanced to "new cemetery" seen by Roe (2), one in British Museum, the other in Ashmolean, Oxford; one of these might correspond with that reported by Evans (1).
