Full Description
This inn is again difficult to locate. It is around the area of the public toilets between knotts lane and The Borough.
In 1789 THE LITTLE ROSE was purchased by Rigden (the brewers) for £836.
The rent book of the inn and directory entries shows the following innkeepers;

1888 Mr TW Johnson
1895 Thomas H Goodhew
1900 Robert Pattison
The Little Rose was sold in 1928 to the trustees of the turnpike road that ran from Canterbury to Ramsgate. The inn closed in 1939.
