Full Description
Site of Tudor farm Riverhill House was built in 1714, later modernised and then enlarged in 1840 with subsequent C19 additions. C18 parkland on east, south and west sides of house with kitchen garden and orchard beyond, also C18. Lower shrubbery and rhododendron arboretum planted in C19. C20 additions include a wood garden and rock garden. Italianate terraces created during Victorian period and grotto in 1909. (1)
