Full Description
Swalecliffe, west channel (upper), Pleistocene fauna in outcropping fluvial terrace. Reported by Worfold (1, 2, 3), also possible source of handaxe finds on foreshore, but none found in situ in channel outcrop. Range of faunal finds reported includes hippo and straight-tusked elephant, maybe as young as MIS 5e
