Summary
The present house at Court Lodge was built on the orders of William Morland in 1730. He had previously purchased Court Lodge from Liz Chapman, but tore down this manor and rebuilt it. The site now has a large gardens that often hosts summer events and festivals. A garden laid out between 1820 and 1880, used as a golf course from 1991
