Full Description

The Canterbury UAD states that an inn is shown on the site on the 1st edition O. S. Map of 1874. This was the Victoria Inn/Tavern. It was incorporated with an extension of the Fulstaff Hotel, next door, in 1889 and was called for a time as the Fulstaff Vaults, it was sited where now the vehicle access is situated
