Monument record TR 36 NW 1107 - Two windmills beneath Manston Airfield
Summary
Two flour mills are shown on old Ordnance Survey maps beneath Manston Airfield. They were present in 1839 and still active in 1872. A building between the mills was active before 1898 but the eastern mill was derelict by this date. All were gone by 1907.
