Plaque on 138 Middle Street, 'Kingfishers', Deal, Kent, commemorating Stephen Phillips 1864 – 1915, English Poet & Dramatist. Who enjoyed considerable popularity in his lifetime lodged & died here in 1915. The dramatic play Paolo and Francesca was his most successful work.
