Summary

"The Manor House" is a large building at Lord of the Manor, Manston. The origin of Lord of the Manor may be from 'Our Lord of the Manors' from a shrine that stood at the cross-roads where the boundaries of four Medieval manors meet. The house at the cross-roads was built as a turnpike keepers cottage in the 1830s.
