Full Description
The cropmark of a possible Prehistoric enclosure situated to the east of Cliffs End (at TR 3484 6490) is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2003. The cropmark of this enclosure is incomplete and measures approximately 30m by 66m. To the north is a linear cropmark which may be the remains of a contemporary ditch but as it is aligned on the corner of the modern field may actually be the remains of a Post Medieval track way.(1-2)
The cropmark remains of the possible enclosure described above was mapped from aerial phortographs as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project. (3)
