Summary
Part of an early Bronze Age, apparently oval shaped enclosure was found during excavations associated with the construction of the east Kent Access route (Zone 10). The enclosure ditch was up to 25m across and continued to the east within the area of preservation in situ. The function and date of the feature is not clear, an Early Bronze Age date is suggested but not confirmed. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
