Monument record TR 36 NW 1163 - Bronze Age ring-ditch discovered during the East Kent Access Route excavations (2009-2011)
Summary
A Bronze Age ring ditch was uncovered during excavations associated with the construction of the East Kent Access route in Thanet (at the western end of Zone 21). one of a number along the chalk ridge. Four graves were revealed in the central area and three of them appeared to lie in a row. They were of a similar early bronze age date (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
