Full Description

Infirmary Cloister Passage, which was the former south and west walkway of the infirmary cloister, was converted into a mere passage when a chamber was built into the north-west corner of the cloister walk during the late 14th to early 15th century. This chamber effectively blocked off the former continuous walkway around the cloister circuit. The walkway at this point utilised the east wall of the Dormitory range as its west wall and the outer wall of a series of chambers attached to the north side of the chapter house as its south wall.
