Monument record TR 15 NW 1723 - Dominican Friary (Blackfriars) burial ground, near St Peter's Lane
Summary
The Dominican Friary was founded in c. 1236. The cemetery attached to it lay to the south of the conventual buildings in an area bounded to the east by King Street and to the south by The Friars. The Friary was suppressed at the Dissolution c. 1538.
