Monument record TR 15 NW 1802 - Prehistoric Occupation (Cellars on Rose Lane Frontage)

Summary

A substantial quantity of pottery of pre- Roman Belgic date was recovered here and this along with other nearby occupation evidence including ditches and a post-hole structure suggests that the beginnings of the early, pre-Roman, town was established hereabout.
