Full Description
Quote from Archaeological Report: "4-bay workshop/wash-house. 1842-1873. Flemish bond brick with some courses of headers and some blue headers; peg-tile rood hipped at ends. Sited parallel to and rear of the 17th century brick house, northeast and facing onto farmyard. Northeast end has paired 20th century ledged and braced doors clad with weatherboarding; 2-light window alongside to right with 4- doorway flanked by 2-light casements with cast iron glazing bars. Inside, the northeast end is divided from the rest by a brick wall with doorway through. Stack (shaft dismantled) against brick wall. Collar rafter truss with purlins held in notches in the collar."
