Full Description
Reference from archaeological survey: "Haystore. C.1880s. Yellow brick piers support a roof clad with corrugated asbestos. Low yellow brick wall on the northwest side, coped with bull-nose or chamfered red bricks. The haystore lies parallel to and between the stable to its southeast and the slaughterhouse range to its northwest, conveniently located for serving both ranges. Roofed on a southwest-northeast axis. 5-bay open building, the southeast side with a low wall external to the square-on-plan piers, wall returns round southwest to form the boundary of a narrow outer yard sharedwith the stable. Tie beam trusses with raking struts; ridgeboard; purlins butted against principle rafters." (1)
