Full Description

Reference from Archaeological Survey: "Cartshed. Probably early 19th century. Weatherboarded timber frame on red brick footings, corrugated asbestos roof is hipped both ends. Low block on rough northwest-southeast axis backing onto former yeard and facing northeast. 4 bays and formely open-fronted (now has 20th century garage doors). Front has plain timber posts which now rest on concrete pads. Other 3 sides have frame of slender framing and, as far as could be seen, only end walls have tension braces. Common rafter roof in which several have lap-jointed collars which clasp the purlins." (1)
