Type 24 pillbox, brick-shuttered. The embrasures on the downhill side are set lower in the walls than those on the uphill side. Pillbox (Sector 5). Cassini ref 735590. At Elms Wood, at edge of wood beside track. (1) Embrasures at different heights.
