Reference from Archaeological Survey: "Stables with cartshed or carriagehouse. Forms the west boundary of the yard, roofed on a north south axis. Painted Flemish bond brick; pegtile roof, gabled at ends with deep verges and bargeboards; front and end walls butteressed. 2 stables to the left 9south) with a timber partition between. Brick crosswall between stables and a 2-bay carriage or cartshed at the north with 2 double doors on the front. The interior (stables only seen survey) has a clasped purlin roof of sawn timbers."
