Summary

Late 18th century stable with a 19th century rebuild at the west end. The yard to its rear is at a higher level than the yard in front. Ground floor Flemish bond brick, first floor weatherboarded, the ends tile hung; peg-tile roof, half hipped at ends, west end rebuilt in brick with rounded corners.

Full Description

Reference from Archaeological Report: "Probably late 18th century, with a 19th century rebuild stable at the W end. On a NW/SE axis, say WE site SW of the farmhouse. E of the malt-house/oast-house. The yard to its rear is at a higher level than the yard in front. Ground floor Flemish bond brick, first floor weatherboarded, the ends tile-hung; peg-tile roof, half hipped at ends left W end rebuilt in brick with a rounded corner. The front S elevation has 2 wide stable doors with egmental arched heads and 2 segmental headed windows. Loft doorway to left of centre." (1)
