Full Description
Reference from Archaeological Survey: "Malthouse/oasthouse. Sited SW of the farmhouse, on a NW/SE axis, say WE. A building is shown on this site on the 1842 tithe map, but no doubt some of the kilns are late, although all 6 are shown on the 1908 OS map. Flemish bond brick with blue headers, a cogged corncie and a peg-tile roof over the stowage, half-hipped at east end. The kilns have been truncated and roofed over as catslides on the N side, the W end kilns are roofless." (1)
