Monument record TR 15 NW 1936 - Anglo-Saxon Hut 2 Simon Langton Yard
Summary
Whole of structure uncovered, except for extreme south-west corner, having been destroyed by a recent brick wall. Considerably smaller then Hut 1, measuring c.3.8m by 3.2m. It was likewise recessed into underlying layers. Several postholes found which at the south and east ends mount gradually up the slope onto the higher ground.
