Two intact graves located on Area MI. Articulated huan bones were also recovered from the robber trench fills on Area MI, and from a section collapse in the same area several months after completion of the excavation. It is therefore likely there are more burials outside the north-west limit of the excavated area, and that they pre-date the cutting of the robber trench.

Grave 154 aligned north-west/ south-east and only part excavated as the remainder continued under the north-west section. The area excavated contained a grave pit 9cm deep cutting into the layer sealing Period 8 and overlain by a deposit of loam pre-dating period 10. Inside the grave was an articulated skeleton of an adult male and other disturbed human bones.

Grave 113. Although no distinct alignment was seen, and no grave cut visible, a number of vertical flints and tile fragments, surrounding a mixture of human bones, indicated the extent of the burial. Fragments of three adult individuals were isolated from the mixture of bones inside the grave; one was female the other two males.

A layer cut by the graves, but sealing Period 8, contained a few bones from a human foot.
