Monument record TR 15 NE 1463 - Cloister at St Augustine's Abbey
Summary
The excavations were undertaken in order to confirm a belief that earlier, Saxon, Cloister remains would be found. In the event two sets of earlier cloister walls were found, one perhaps dating from St Dunstan's reform movement and one set re-aligned in connection with Wulfrics 'rotunda'.
