Monument record TR 15 NW 1963 - Anglo-Saxon Area of Activity, Excavation 'MIV' 1-2 Marlowe Arcade

Summary

A total of eleven structures were then built in the area in the Saxon period (c AD 450-700), all cutting 'dark earth' generated during the post Roman abandonment. A number of associated features such as wells, pits, hearths and post holes were also found.
